The Duke of York's Royal Military School, in Guston, Kent, commonly known as the Duke of York's, is a co-educational academy with military tradition for students aged 11 to 18. In 2010 the school became an academy under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence and accepts applications from any student wishing to enrol, thus altering its former status wherein only students with veteran or still serving parents in the armed forces were eligible to apply.
